WWE Elimination Chamber 2018 Drinking Game

So we will have to evaluate things here at TurnHeel as the amount of PPVs is about to shrink. But for now we still have brand-separated shows and this time it is Elimination Chamber time. Once just a match, but now a whole show. My one thought on this is this; why isn’t every match in the Chamber. Any of these shows that have a name of a match, be the namesake of the PPV should in theory have each match in the gimmick. Just my soapbox. Carry on.

As usual, this game is presented as a fun way to try to predict the results of an upcoming WWE PPV. We obviously do not advocate actually playing this game due to the extreme nature of the challenge presented here. In other words, don’t try this at home.

Standard Turn Heel WWE PPV drinking game rules apply for the WWE Elimination 2018 Drinking Game: If you’re playing on “Easy Mode” take a sip of beer or of a mixed drink when the game calls for it. If you’re playing on “Hardcore Mode” take a full shot of hard liquor or down an entire can/bottle of beer each time the game calls for it.

ADDITIONAL DISCLAIMER: Only partake in the consumption of adult beverages if you are of legal age in your locale! (Hi, Facebook!)

WWE Elimination Chamber Drinking Game – Kickoff Show

Well, it’s Saturday night and there’s one match set for the Kickoff Show… here are some general rules though first:

Take a shot:

If Sam Roberts is referred to as the “Last Professional Broadcaster.”

If Dana shows up to talk about the stats before the TWW match.

If any superstar shows up but doesn’t do anything while there

Every time the word “Chamber” is uttered

If Paul Heyman joins the Kickoff desk

Take 2 shots:

If Curt Hawkins gets #REKT by another superstar in an impromptu match

If Kurt Angle appears on the Kickoff Show

Take 3 shots:

If Triple H appears on the Kickoff Show

Take 4 shots:

If any of the announced matches covered in this drinking game are somehow moved to the Kickoff Show

Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson vs. The Miztourage (Kickoff Match)

Take a shot:

For each NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRD use whether said or with graphic

If Miztourage come out to Miz’s entrance theme

If The Good Brothers drop a promo before the match

The Good Brothers are referred to as Balor Club instead

If Miztourage have their own entrance now for them.

Take 2 shots:

Each big boot from Gallows

Each spinebuster from Anderson

If Bo comes out in his Sons of Anarchy gear

If Axel eats the pin

Take 3 shots:

If The Good Brothers win with a Magic Killer

If Axel dons a neckbrace for some reason

Take 4 shots:

If Miztourage win the match and go over strong.

Prediction: This match seems shoddily thrown together. Yes there were matches involving the two teams but there was no substantive story to couple along with it. On paper, The Good Brothers should be in line for a victory. However, I have no idea why they would win as far as a story is concerned. Good Brothers win but more out of my love for them than logic.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2018  Drinking Game

Five main show matches is a low number. I bet this one ends early. Here’s some general rules:

Take a shot:

Each time the announcers mention “Elimination Chamber”

If they use the Uso jail door slam screen wipe during the show

Take a celebratory shot:

If the Revival work a match

Drown your sorrows with 2 shots:

If the Good Brothers lose and set a poor tone for the night

Take 3 shots:

If this show ends early

If someone debuts

If someone returns

Take 4 shots:

If this show somehow runs past 11pm Eastern

If Women’s Chamber goes on last

If Men’s Chamber is the longest match of the night.

Take 10 shots:

If any weird MITB shenanigans happen with Carmella

Raw Tag Team Champions Cesaro & Sheamus vs. Titus Worldwide

Take a shot:

Each time Titus tosses someone around

If it is just Titus and Apollo at the ring

If the match goes less than 10 minutes

If The Bar win the match

Take 2 shots:

If the match lasts more than 15 minutes

If there is a near-fall in favor of Titus Worldwide

If Dana messes up an opportunity for her team to win

Take 3 shots:

If Titus Worldwide shocks the world and wins

Prediction: This match could be fun as they are starting to let Apollo loose with his move-set but they aren’t putting the belts on he and Titus. If they do, it will be a huge shift in the tone of booking recently. It would go over well in my book but the likelihood of that is slim to none. The Bar retain for a bigger match down the line.

“Woken” Matt Hardy vs. Bray Wyatt

Take a shot:

If we get an indication of an expanding “Woken” universe

Each fit of laughter

For each Sister Abigail attempt

For each Twist of Fate attempt

If Wyatt wins

Take 2 shots:

If both superstars do full promos before the match starts

If this match steals the show

If this is the first match of the night

Take 3 shots:

If Matt comes out by himself

Take 4 shots:

If Matt wins via Twist of Fate

If the match ends in a DQ

Take 5 shots:

If Brother Nero comes in for the assist.

Prediction: This match only works if there is a long term plan to flesh out the Woken universe further. I believe that is the plan but I am not buying in completely until I see it. With the idea that there is a expansion in mind, Wyatt would likely win so that Matt can become more Woken and take this thing outside a traditional ring.

Ronda Rousey’s official Raw Contract Signing to take place at WWE Elimination Chamber

Take a shot:

If Stephanie introduces Ronda

If Ronda is booed

If Ronda comes out in Piper’s gear

Each “UFC” mention

Take 2 shots:

If its both Stephanie and Triple H in the ring

If things get physical

If this signing kills more than 10 minutes

If nothing happens other than the signing

Take 3 shots:

If Kurt Angle is present

Braun is brought out

Each mention of Rowdy

Take 4 shots:

If Rock shows up at a non-big-4 show

Stephanie in an armbar

Take 10 shots:

Triple H in an armbar

Prediction: Well we’ve gotten to the point where a contract signing takes the spot of an actual match at a PPV. They’ll serve themselves well by making this actually mean something story-line wise and not just mail this in just because it is Ronda.

Asuka vs. Nia Jax

Take a shot:

Asuka wins via submission

Asuka yells in Japanese before the match starts

Each mention of the “Royal Rumble”

If this match kicks off the main show

Take 4 shots:

Asuka wins by pin on Nia

Take 5 shots:

Nia gets a convincing near-fall

If the match ends in a DQ

Take 6 shots:

The streak is over

Prediction: We’ve seen this match before but not on the main roster. Asuka will be tested but to what degree will she be. I imagine there might be a single near fall for Nia but the Asuka-Lock will be the difference in this match.

The first-ever Women’s Elimination Chamber Match

Take a shot:

If we have a new champ

If Alexa comes out in the Iron Man inspired gear

If Sasha does anything heelish

If Mandy Rose gets a pin on anyone

Each Elimination

Take 2 shots:

If Sasha wins the belt

If Nia intervenes and causes Alexa to lose the title

If Alexa retains

Take 3 shots:

If this is the first match of the night

Match of the Night

Take 4 shots:

If Alexa taps out to the Banks Statement in the final elimination

If anyone dives off a pod

Prediction: Another historic first. For me though this is the “first” that could have not happened and everyone would be fine. Chamber matches are a cluster and based on how elimination style matches have gone in the past in the women’s division, it could be a mass exodus in two minute span and the match is over. Out of all the competitor’s Sasha should come away as champ.

Men’s Elimination Chamber Match (Winner to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at WrestleMania)

Take a shot:

Roman wins.

Braun wins and it is decisive.

Each Superman Punch

Each Spear

Take 2 shots:

If this is the longest match of the night

Each time someone goes through a pod

If Elias does a concert bit from within the chamber to start

Take 3 shots:

If this match is longer than 30 minutes

If any large object is tipped over by Braun

Coup De Grace from a Pod

Each Elimination by Cena

Take 4 shots:

Roman no sells Braun

Seth wins and continues his newfound rocket push

Prediction: Romans winning. There’s been some smokescreens to get people off the trail but everything still points to Roman vs. Brock at Mania.

Well, that’s our WWE Elimination Chamber 2018 Drinking Game. The road to WrestleMania is in full force. Hopefully that card will begin to formulate starting with this show. No live tweeting this time but I will be hitting up the Twitter machine for #ChamberAfterDark at 8:05PST.
