WWE Fastlane 2018 Drinking Game

We are putting the hammer down, throwing it into the left lane and are on the Fastlane to Wrestlemania 34 here in a just a few weeks. I for one cannot wait to be in New Orleans to share experiences with you all but we must get through the last PPV before then, Fastlane!

As usual, this game is presented as a fun way to try to predict the results of an upcoming WWE PPV. We obviously do not advocate actually playing this game due to the extreme nature of the challenge presented here. In other words, don’t try this at home.

Standard Turn Heel WWE PPV drinking game rules apply for the WWE Fastlane 2018 Drinking Game: If you’re playing on “Easy Mode” take a sip of beer or of a mixed drink when the game calls for it. If you’re playing on “Hardcore Mode” take a full shot of hard liquor or down an entire can/bottle of beer each time the game calls for it.

ADDITIONAL DISCLAIMER: Only partake in the consumption of adult beverages if you are of legal age in your locale! (Hi, Facebook!)

Each time the word “Day” is used (RIP)

Take 2 shots:

If any announced match gets bounced to the Kickoff

If the other Riott Squad members make an appearance

Take 3 shots:

If a Talking Smack is announced for the post show

Take 4 shots:

If any impromptu matches are added to the Kickoff

Take 5 shots:

Becky Lynch & Naomi vs. Natalya & Carmella

Take a shot:

Any mention of a backstory

If the match goes less than 10 minutes

If Liv/Logan interferes.

If this match is building toward anything, and is referenced as such

Take 2 shots:

If Nattie and Carmella win, giving away the idea that Carmella could try and cash in later in the night

Take 3 shots:

Face team wins and nothing happens beyond this one-off

Prediction: This is a filler match if I ever saw one. It sucks because the women’s division is limited in numbers, so utilizing them for a filler is doing that whole division a disservice. I’ll go with Nattie and Carmella, because I want there to be intrigue.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Rusev

Take a shot:

If Rusev gets a bigger pop

Each time “Rusev Day” chant

For each Kinshasa attempt

For each Accolade attempt

If Lana accompanies Rusev, referring to their Mixed Match Challenge interactions.

Take 2 shots:

Each time Rusev banters the crowd

…if that backfires

If Rusev eats a Kinshasa within 10 minutes.

Take 3 shots:

If it is a DQ finish

If Rusev beats down Shinsuke before the match starts

Take 4 shots:

If Aiden English’s voice is back

Take 5 shots:

If Rusev wins the match

Prediction: I love Rusev Day as much as the next guy but I swear they mess around with Shinsuke any more this year, I’m going to lose it. Nakamura needs a regular, decent win over a decent opponent like a Rusev and that is it. I fear though that Rusev is now more over than Shinsuke. Nakamura wins but I don’t know what happens if he gets booed.

United States Champion Bobby Roode vs. Randy Orton

Take a shot:

If Orton is a heel but he’s sold as a face

Each “Glorious Chant”

If Orton RKO’s Roode before the match

Take 2 shots:

If Orton eats a Glorious DDT

Each RKO

If the match goes more 10 minutes

If Orton’s hair is shaven again

Take 3 shots:

Each Draped DDT

Take 4 shots:

If Bobby wins and retains

Take 10 shots:

Orton wins the US Title and things make no sense again, going into WM34

Prediction: They aren’t going to do to Bobby like they did for Wyatt last year against Orton right? Right?! Please god just let Bobby retain. That’s my pick but I’m nervous.

SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair vs. Ruby Riott

Take a shot:

If the Riott Squad interferes

If Charlotte dons the Peacock robe.

Take 4 shots:

If Charlotte prevails

Take 5 shots:

DQ finish

Take 6 shots:

Ruby Riott, swerve champ

Prediction: I feel bad for Ruby. She is deserving of the shot but due to the time of the year this match is no more than filler. Hopefully her booking does not take a hit after all of this. Charlotte prevails heading into ‘Mania.

(WWE.com)

SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos vs. The New Day

Take 2 shots:

If this is the longest match of the night

Take 3 shots:

Xavier wrestles

New Day use heel tactics as faces

Take 5 shots:

New Day wins, Uso’s sidelined for Mania?

Take 10 shots:

Best match of the New Day vs. Uso Saga

Prediction: This will hopefully be another great match. Not sure if it will be the best, but these matches are always solid. Uso’s retain and will have a match on the main card at ‘Mania for the first time.

(WWE.com)

WWE Champion AJ Styles vs. John Cena vs. Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn vs. Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler (Six-Pack Challenge Match)

Take a shot:

Any reference to Cena’s road to ‘Mania

If AJ retains

Take 2 shots:

If any run-in occurs

If this is the match of the night.

Take 3 shots:

If this goes more than 30 minutes

Each Styles Clash

Each near fall

Anyone other than AJ wins.

Take 4 shots:

John Cena, road confirmed.

Prediction: AJ Styles retains, as under no circumstance should they mess with the AJ vs. Nakamura match. Will be a lot of action so hopefully the match will have at least 30 minutes.
